3D-cryofreeze is a non-invasive treatment using a combination of electro and cryo therapy. Using the 3D-cryofreeze handpiece, a vacuum gently draws the fat into the cup. This localised area is then cooled, causing approximately 20%–40% of the fat cells in the area to die (apoptosis).

How This Tech Works

3D-cryofreeze targets fat cells specifically. By lowering the temperature to around -6 °C, it pinpoints the contents of the fat cells, causing them to crystallise. No other structures are affected. The remaining fat cell contents are then disposed of naturally through the body’s lymphatic system.

Treatment Areas

This treatment is best for targeting stubborn areas that just won’t shift. Typical areas include inner thighs, lower abdomen and “muffin tops”. Two areas can be treated simultaneously with the 3D-cryofreeze duo handpiece. Your therapist will tailor a plan and may combine technologies for best results.

How Many Treatments Are Recommended?

Only one treatment is required per area.

Expected Results

On average you’ll see a 20%–40% reduction of fat in the localised area. As the body takes time to flush out the dead fat cells, results are typically visible after 6–12 weeks.

Can I Combine 3D-Cryofreeze with Other Treatments?

Yes. While cryofreeze can be a one-off per area, many programmes combine it with other technologies to enhance results. For example, if you have a pocket of stubborn fat and some skin laxity, we may follow with a course of radiofrequency to tighten and tone.

What Will I Experience During Treatment?

First, an anti-freeze pad is placed to protect the skin. The fat is then drawn into the suction cup before cooling. You may feel a pulling sensation and cold; within a few minutes the area typically goes numb. The handpiece remains on the area for 30–60 minutes, depending on the size treated.
