The Treatment I Didn’t Do
Story time…
This week, a lovely lady came to see me for a consultation about tear trough filler.
She’d done her research and felt that filler would be the answer to the concerns she had under her eyes.
But after assessing the area, I explained that she didn’t actually have significant tear trough hollows. Instead, her main concern was dark circles, along with a small amount of natural puffiness.
The difficult conversation was that I didn’t believe tear trough filler would improve what was bothering her. In fact, I was concerned it could make the area appear more puffy and potentially leave her feeling even more disappointed with the result.
So I said no.
Not because I couldn’t carry out the treatment, but because I didn’t feel it was the right treatment for her.
Instead, we spent time discussing other options that would be much more appropriate for improving the appearance of her dark circles.
One of the things I value most about my role is being honest. Sometimes that means recommending a treatment, and sometimes it means advising against one.
My priority will always be helping you achieve the best possible outcome—not simply carrying out the treatment you’ve asked for.
Because good aesthetics isn’t about saying yes to everything. It’s about recommending what’s most appropriate for you. 🤍
📩 If you’re unsure which treatment is right for you, book a consultation and let’s create a plan together.
